The Magic Cafe Forums - B'Cards? (5)1

I don't know about you, but my favorite two props in mentalism are billets (usually business cards) and pens.

These tools are to mentalists what cards are to traditional magic. There is so much possibility, but at the same time, they are usually only used a quarter of their capacity!

If you're looking to never get caught with your pants down and always deliver a unique experience with these tools then you're ALMOST at the right place...

I'm currently working on some of the phenomenal ideas presented in the book and I'll have a video review ready on my thoughts on this tome on business card mentalism.

Until then, here is the skinny and where you can secure your copy...

In B´Cards you will learn my favorite Mentalism using business cards. This is the ultimate and most complete publication in this topic.
Openers, mindreading, prediction systems, emotional routines and more!

Impromptu routines (just business cards and a marker)
New techniques
No gimmicks
No complicated methods or procedures
Engaging themes
Minimalism as it best

Table of Content

Business Opener: A perfect and direct way to open a close up set, predicting a participant´s choice and give your card as souvenir.

360 Drawing: A drawing duplication for the real world and capable of creating great moments even when you are completely surrounded

Zodiac Business: An open method for predicting anything without gimmicks just using your business cards. You can reveal zodiac signs, musical notes, numbers, and much more

Pareidolia: Wonderful simple, entertaining and credible method to force thoughts.

ABCAAN: Give your participant the opportunity to feel his intuition and psychic abilities.

3 Moments in Time: Predict the Past, Present and Future of any three members of your audience. Ungimmicked in the hands approach to "Triple Prediction/Mental Epic"

Jazz Force: A casual way to force a business card (or any flat object) that is easy and 100% foolproof

Picasso Peek: Full peek of a business card for your toolkit.

Gesture Peek: My favorite method to peek business cards for mindreading

Double Perception: A system to force dichotomic choices (YES/NO, SUGAR/SALT, HEADS/TAILS, etc) with complete control.

2 Thoughts: Read minds and predict thoughts without gimmicks or setups

E`Wave: Small packet effect using just 4 business cards, an interesting theme and a final precognitive souvenir that you participant will keep.

Positively Negative: My version of the classic "Positive/Negative". Only one card, no ambiguous message.

Anywhere Dermovisionist: A bold method to read thoughts anytime, anywhere just with two business cards. No folds, no rips, no switches, complete peek.

Impromptu Peek Device: Even when the participant isolates his thought between two unprepared business cards, you are able to read his mind with 100% accuracy.

BMOABT: Just your business cards will allow you to create an amazing mindreading effect using an "invisible book"

Emotional Truth: A group of participants is invited to an emotional re-connection experience, which ends in a surprising and mysterious moment.

Life and Death: Two options, one experience of intuition and mindreading.

Animal Intuition: Predict your participant´s own "Personal Animal" in a fun manner. In here you will learn a new psychological technique to predict thoughts without gimmicks, anytime, anywhere.

"Pablo has put together an assortment of various routines, presentations and subtleties using nothing more than a stack of business cards. Many of the routines are completely impromptu. There are ideas that you can easily always have on hand or can create on the spot with just a pen and your business cards or blank cards. There is something for everyone in this collection. I’m sure some of the presentations and routines will spark other ideas."

Does it include the cards?.......ok just kidding!

The routines seem interesting. Tempted to get it. But some more detailed reviews would be helpful. So I'll wait a bit.

Hi John!
This is a compilation of unpublished material and some other routines that I offer before as separate releases (such as 2 Thoughts). Some of them also are new approaches to methods that I explore deeply now and with the condition of "only business cards" (no cases, wallets, or other type of apparatus).

Thanks for the interest IMAGINACIAN. The nice thing about these routines is that they work for business card and/or blank cards, so they are applicable to the hobbiest that don't use business cards as networking tool rather he wants practical material in the palm of his hand (literally) and for the professionals who wants to create a deep interesting impression with other potential clients.

I have use this material for years (and as a matter of fact I have a short intervention today at an event and I will use one of this pieces) so it is working ideas, classic plots and effects with my contribution in terms of psychology, scripting and handling.

All the best!

Glad that you love Pareidolia! It is indeed a beautiful technique to f0rce any abbreviated information such as numbers, letters, drawings, etc. in a manner that the procedure needed co-exist wth the core method and overall process experienced for the audience and participant(s). They remember it as something memorable.

Also the Vertical ***** Force is a technique that I also used in the past to create a "Se loves me...she loves me not" type of dynamic using a deck of cards. Again, it is memorable and allows us to talk about the power of metaphors.

Other reviews and opinions about BCards:

I really like this ebook. First, I like the innocence of business cards. They do not scream MAGIC TRICK!
Second, I like Pablo's subtle methods that fly under the radar.

Hey guys,

A word about B'Cards.

So, we all know Pablo Amira and his Ideas/Stuffs, as he used to call them.

Well now, this is his newest release, and it involves billets and pens.

If you like mentalism, and have always wanted to learn more effects using business cards or billets, then you have come to the right place.

Some highlights that stood out to me were:

Zodiac Business = you can literally predict anything, zodiac signs, numbers, etc etc. very good, I will use it, and again just uses your business cards and a pen.

3 Moments in Time = a mental epic style routine.....I like these type of routines because you get to mess around with presentation, and this is great.

ABCAAN = if you like ACAAN then this has the same feel, but using Business cards, very easy to do, and clever. Presentation revolves around intuition and feelings.

Every other routine in this ebook is great, and what I may like others may not, and what I may end up using, others will not.

Every person has their own style and presentation and spin on effects, so I think that if you can get something out of every release, then it has been worth its weight in gold.

Here easy, 3 effects come immediately to mind that I will use, and again just using your business cards and a pen.

Thanks Pablo

Thanks Alejandro for your comments. I am glad that you enjoyed some of the pieces in there. It is fun to see the different prefered choices from different persons. A lot of them told me that "3 Moments in Time" is their favorite, others the Zodiac Business method and prediction system. This tells me that there is something for everyone in here The Magic Cafe Forums - B'Cards? (43)

Pablo's work has never really been my style, I have to admit it... we have very different approaches.

With "B' Cards" you actually get a lot of leeway to adapt the routines to your own style, that's why I liked this. It basically is a huge gathering of ideas using only busines cards and a pen.

I used to perform a lot of card magic in the past, and I'm glad to see he's borrowed some card techniques and applied them to business card in a non-magic way. You don't need to be a card expert to master this sleights, it will just take a few days top (if you've never done card work before)

The routines are well justified, and they're a mixture of boldness and some dexterity, and I love that.

Besides, as professionals we need to take care of networking a lot, and this is a great way of doing it. This is why I like to use business cards to write predictions, etc.

I really found some value on this ebook and I appreciate Pablo shared it with me.

Thanks E.E. ! Glad that you can enjoy the eBook on there even when our styles are different. that's one of my goals when publishing my ideas: No matter the approach and the style, my techniques and routines are versatile enough to let the performer adds his own ways to make them as authentic as they can be.

Also, keep enjoying the Jazz F0rce The Magic Cafe Forums - B'Cards? (56)

Hi Jerskin. I was finishing the translation of "BCards" when Julian released his own eBook about Business Card work. I talk with him privately about this and he didn't have any problem about it (gentleman).
I am in a very subjective place of course to compare them, but Julian is a good source for business card routines, which my favorite is his Drawing Duplication, very cheeky thinking!

My advice for you is: Sell that trick that you have in your wardrobe and get both eBooks The Magic Cafe Forums - B'Cards? (61) I am sure that you will get value from both.
