About the Internship
As our new process technologist intern you will be part of the R&I Specialized Nutrition Powder Technology team. You will generate knowledge regarding drivers for different powder qualities. This will involve powder analysis and development of new analytical methods to better understand drivers for good and worse powder quality.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Create a literature review about specific powder quality and existing analytical methods
- Improve or develop analytical methods to understand the mechanisms that can lead to low powder quality
- Analyse data and generate hypotheses for statistical correlation
- Write a report with clear conclusions and next steps

We are looking for a Bachelor or Master student in Food science and technology or Chemical engineering or other related field. You want to apply your knowledge and skills by running lab experiments and share your findings with a team of experts. You are a self-starter, curious and not afraid to share your opinion or ask questions when needed. You are a highly motivated and proactive with good communication skills. You are eager to learn and thrive in a dynamic environment that continuously challenges you.
Additionally, you must meet the following requirements:
- You are enrolled as a Bachelor or Master student during the whole period of the internship (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university);
- You are available to start between June and September 2024 for a minimum of 5 months (5 days per week)
- You are fluent in English – written and spoken;
- Please note that you are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) and get a BSN number
